Two Chinese suspects confessed to disposing of Byun Ah Yeong’s body after she died of a medical incident. However, the autopsy report showed that the female BJ showed signs of being beaten.
June 11th, Topstar News reported that Byun Ah Yeong – a famous BJ (Broadcast Jockeys) in Korea – passed away at the age of 33. Byun Ah Yeong’s cause of death was reported by the police as a suspected murder in Cambodia. The case is currently stirring up public opinion in Cambodia and South Korea.

The identities of the two suspects are Lai (male, 30 years old) and Thai (female, 39 years old). Both run a medical clinic in Phnom Penh.

Daily News Rasmei Kampuchea said the suspects Lai and Thai had admitted to the act of dumping Byun Ah Yeong’s body. The couple denied killing the Korean girl. The suspect said Byun Ah Yeong went to their clinic for intravenous fluids and serum injections on June 4. Then she suddenly had a convulsion and stopped breathing. After Byun Ah Yeong died, the suspect and his wife used a private car to transport the victim’s body to Kandal province to dispose of the funeral.
However, according to the newspaper, An autopsy revealed that Byun Ah Yeong’s death was not simply a medical incident. The forensic report noted that the victim’s neck was broken, and her face and body had bruises and burns, suspected of being abused before her death. Police are still investigating the case. Friends who traveled with Byun Ah Yeong were also summoned for questioning.
Byun Ah Yeong, born in 1990, is Afreeca TV’s favorite BJ. She has more than 150,000 followers. On social networks, the audience left mournful comments in memory of Byun Ah Yeong.
