King Mohammed VI congratulates the Moroccan Olympic team on the continental coronation

His Majesty King Mohammed VI sent a cable of congratulations to the members of the Moroccan national football team for under-23 years, on the occasion of their coronation of the 2023 African Cup of Nations title, and their qualification to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

His Majesty the King said, in this telegram, “And after, we followed with great pleasure and pride the coronation of the Moroccan national football team for under-23 years, the title of the African Cup of Nations 2023, which our country hosted, and its qualification for the next Olympic Games, “Paris 2024.”

His Majesty added, “We seize the occasion of this new continental achievement, to express to you our warmest congratulations and blessing for this first-of-its-kind title, which confirms, once again, the balanced presence of national football teams and clubs, both continentally and internationally, praising, in this regard, the efforts of everyone who contributed to this achievement.” Achieving this African brilliance from players, coaches, technical, medical and administrative staff, as well as the president and directors of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation.

His Majesty continued, “On this happy occasion, we would like to proudly acknowledge the high performance of our cubs during this tournament, and the high technical and technical skills they demonstrated, and a sublime patriotic spirit that won the admiration and appreciation of the passionate fans who followed the stages of this continental football forum that our country hosted with what it is. It is known for its great hospitality, welcome and good organization.”

This telegram also stated, “While we urge you to continue with the same spirit of perseverance and hard work in the upcoming meetings, we pray to God Almighty for more brilliance and success for you, covered by our sympathy and satisfaction.”
