A car was stolen on Avenida Reitor Miguel Calmon, popularly known as Vale do Canela, in Salvador, during this Wednesday (12). According to a witness, the crime took place in a parking area at the Federal University of Bahia (Ufba). “Early in the morning, they took a car here inside the Canela campus, between the Faculty of Medicine and the Institute of Health Sciences”, he said.
According to the Military Police (PM), there was no activation of the corporation. The case is being investigated by the Civil Police (PC). “The Police Station for the Repression of Vehicle Thefts and Thefts (DRFRV) is investigating the theft of a Hyundai/Creta vehicle, license plate RCS2I44, taken this Wednesday (12), in the neighborhood of Canela”, says an excerpt from the note issued.
The PC also reported that images from security cameras installed at the site are being collected, to help identify the perpetrators. Sought after, Ufba said it is still investigating what happened and has not issued a position until the time of this publication.
