The women’s national football team lost to their Jamaican counterpart (0-1) in a friendly match on Sunday in Australia.
This match is part of the preparations of the Moroccan women’s team for the 2023 World Cup, scheduled from July 20 to August 20 in Australia and New Zealand.
The Atlas Lionesses had already played two other friendly matches. The first against Italy, which took place on July 1, ended in a draw (0-0), as did the second, played on July 5, against Switzerland.
The women’s national football team is housed in Group H of the World Cup, alongside Germany, Colombia and South Korea.
