The official account of the Argentine national team on social networks today launched a new spot to celebrate the six months of the title in the World Cup in Qatar 2022.
“Six months from the third star. The incomparable flavor of a unique menu. Cheers, Champions”, published the official profile of the national team (@argentina) along with a new video to remember the historic title.
The spot lasts just over two minutes and stars an actor who pretends to be a French chef who provides the secret recipe for a three-star menu.
“In 1936 the French created the distinction for the highest world cuisine,” announces the video to contextualize the parody dedicated to Argentina’s rival in the World Cup final.
During the video, the chef winks differently at the coach of the Argentine national team, Lionel Scaloni, at various members of the team and at the end makes a play on words between the French thank you (“merci”) and the last name of the national captain, Lionel Messi.
The official account of the Argentine team has more than five and a half million followers on Twitter, while on Instagram it has already exceeded twelve million.
