Interior Minister Abdelouafi Laftit held, on Friday at the ministry’s headquarters in Rabat, a working meeting with Israeli Interior and Health Minister Moshe Arbel, attended by senior officials from the departments of interior of both countries.
This meeting is part of the strengthening of relations between the Kingdom of Morocco and the State of Israel, which have made significant progress since the signing in December 2020 of the Tripartite Declaration (Morocco-USA-Israel), indicates a press release from the ministry.
During this meeting, Laftit exchanged views with his Israeli counterpart on issues falling within the remit and areas of competence of their respective departments, the same source points out.
This meeting was also an opportunity to address bilateral issues of common interest and examine ways to strengthen cooperation between the two countries, the statement concludes.
