Lateshia Pearson isn’t just building a business; she’s cultivating a movement. Through her coaching, initiatives like Women Brunch Mississippi and Empower Me Sis, and her visibility on OWN’s Belle Collective, Pearson is empowering women to embrace their potential and build lives rooted in faith, purpose, and authentic connection. Her story is a powerful testament to the transformative power of shifting your mindset and taking consistent action.
Overcoming obstacles with Faith and Action
Pearson’s journey wasn’t without its challenges. Like many entrepreneurs, she wrestled with self-doubt. She discovered a pivotal shift occurred when she stopped focusing on potential failure and started envisioning success.
“I would pray, journal, and remind myself that faith and doubt can’t coexist,” Pearson explains. “When I shifted my mindset from ‘What if I fail?’ to ‘What if I fly?’-everything changed.”
This internal transformation fuels her entrepreneurial philosophy, which she shares through her coaching programs. Here’s her core advice:
* Start with what you have. You are your greatest resource.
* Define your vision. Write it down and pray over it.
* Take one step daily. Consistency creates opportunities.
* Don’t wait for perfection. Begin where you are and let faith and consistent effort fill in the gaps.
* Trust the alignment. The right people and resources will appear as you move forward.
The Gospel According to Brunch: Building a Community
pearson’s impact extends far beyond individual coaching. Her initiatives, Women Brunch Mississippi and Empower Me Sis, have blossomed into a statewide – and increasingly national – movement connecting female founders, dreamers, and doers.
She initially launched Women Brunch Mississippi in 2017 with a simple goal: to create a space for women to support one another. “I had no idea it would turn into what it is indeed today,” Pearson admits. “It’s a reminder that when your vision comes from a pure place, God will expand it beyond what you can imagine.”
The proof is in the transformation. Pearson recalls one young woman who attended an early brunch feeling lost and discouraged. A year later, she launched her own business and returned as a vendor, crediting Women Brunch Mississippi with restoring her belief in herself. Thes stories are the driving force behind Pearson’s work.
Her leadership style mirrors the community she’s built: authentic, collaborative, and focused on connection.”I don’t create from competition; I create from connection and collaboration,” she says. “When women walk into my events, I want them to feel seen, heard, and valued. It’s about leading with love and purpose, not ego. That’s how you build a community that lasts.”
pearson believes that purpose and platform can – and should – coexist. “When women see that, something inside them shifts.”
The Southern standard: Belle Collective and Beyond
Season 6 of Belle collective showcases growth, vulnerability, and the power of women navigating business expansion, family dynamics, and personal rebuilding - all while being filmed. The show captures ambition tempered by accountability, demanding both outward success and inward reflection.
Pearson emphasizes that her legacy extends beyond the visibility Belle Collective provides. “Belle Collective has given me visibility, yes. But what happens beyond the brunch is where my legacy lives.”
Through Belle Collective, Women Brunch Mississippi, and Lateshia Pearson Enterprises, she’s established herself as a respected figure grounded in Southern values.Women worldwide are seeking a seat at her table. This season highlights her growing influence, demonstrating that faith and fame can coexist when purpose is the guiding principle.
