Dr. eden Brown: A Profile in Clinical Psychology & Telehealth
I’m a licensed clinical psychologist dedicated to providing accessible and effective mental healthcare. My journey in the field has been shaped by over two decades of diverse experiences, all focused on helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and achieve lasting well-being.
I earned both my Master of Science and Doctor of Psychology degrees in Clinical Psychology from the Florida Institute of Technology. This rigorous training laid the foundation for my approach to therapy, which is grounded in evidence-based practices and a deep understanding of the human experience.
Currently, I serve as Clinical Director at a leading telehealth provider, specializing in trauma and health psychology. This allows me to extend care to individuals who might or else face barriers to accessing mental health services. I’ve found that telehealth is a powerful tool for reaching those in need, offering convenience and flexibility without compromising quality of care.
A broad Spectrum of Experience
Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with a wide range of populations and presenting concerns. Here’s a glimpse into my professional background:
Private Practice: For 12 years, I built and maintained a thriving private practice, providing individual and group therapy.
Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center: I spent five years at a VA Medical Center, serving as a psychologist on a combat trauma team and as Associate Director of the Internship Program. This experience deepened my understanding of trauma and its impact on individuals and families.
* Graduate-Level Education: I dedicated four years to teaching clinical courses at the graduate level, fostering the next generation of mental health professionals.
I believe that continuous learning and professional development are essential. This commitment ensures I’m equipped to provide the most up-to-date and effective care possible.
Beyond the clinic
When I’m not working with clients, I enjoy pursuing creative outlets like writing, playing music, and cooking. these activities help me recharge and maintain a healthy work-life balance, which I believe is crucial for providing compassionate and effective care.
I’m passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of others. If you are seeking support, I encourage you to reach out and explore the possibilities for growth and healing.
