Tamra judge on Life Changes: Health, family, and Shifting priorities
Life is full of unexpected turns, isn’t it? Recently, I’ve been reflecting on my own journey, and I wanted to share some personal updates – from navigating health concerns to watching my children grow and make their own choices. It’s a lot, but it’s also incredibly rewarding.
A Shift in Perspective on Alcohol
For a long time, a glass of wine felt like a simple pleasure. However, my perspective has evolved, especially considering my husband Eddie’s ongoing heart issues. He’s very direct about it: alcohol isn’t good for you, and seeing the impact it can have has definitely resonated with me.
Honestly, I’m now at a point where I rarely even want to drink. You start to realize that sometimes, you just don’t need it. It’s about prioritizing well-being and making choices that support a healthy lifestyle.
Sophia’s Journey and a Possible Change of Plans
Watching your children navigate life and love is a unique experiance. My daughter, Sophia, is currently head-over-heels for a wonderful young man named Nico. it’s truly heartwarming to see her so happy.
Consequently, this has led her to re-evaluate her future plans. She had been seriously considering music school, but Nico lives in Fullerton, where my son Spencer also attends cal State Fullerton. Now, Sophia is thinking she might pursue general education with the possibility of joining them at Fullerton later.
Interestingly, Nico even suggested they explore the idea of moving to New York together, which Sophia finds exciting. It’s wonderful to see her open to new possibilities.
Home is Where the Heart Is (and the casita Is!)
Currently, Sophia is living with Eddie and me in the “casita” – a small guest house on our property. She briefly tried living in the casita before, but found it too isolating. So, she moved back into the main house, and we’re perfectly happy to have her close.
I’ve even jokingly told Eddie that she’s never moving out! of course,I can’t help but wonder if the boyfriend plays a role in her decision to stay so close to home. It’s a mother’s intuition, right?
Staying Connected
These are exciting times, filled with both challenges and joys. I’m grateful for the love and support of my family, and I’m looking forward to what the future holds. You can catch up with everything happening on The real Housewives of Orange County, airing Thursdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
