Gentle Warm-Up: Cat-Cow Pose
Begin on your hands and knees, ensuring your wrists are under your shoulders and your knees are under your hips. Inhale as you drop your belly towards the floor, arching your back and lifting your gaze – this is Cow Pose.Exhale and round your spine towards the ceiling, tucking your chin to your chest – this is Cat Pose.
Continue flowing between thes two poses for several breaths, synchronizing your movement with your breath. This gentle movement warms your spine and prepares your body for deeper stretches.
Sun Salutations: A Mini Flow
Next, move into a modified Sun Salutation to build a little heat. inhale, sweep your arms overhead, and gently arch back. Exhale, fold forward from your hips, keeping a slight bend in your knees.
Inhale, lift halfway, lengthening your spine. Exhale, return to forward fold. Repeat this flow 3-5 times, moving with your breath. Feel the energy building with each repetition.
Warrior Two: Grounding and Strength
Step your right foot forward between your hands, aligning your heel with the arch of your left foot. Raise your arms to shoulder height, palms facing down. Bend your right knee over your right ankle, keeping your torso upright.
Gaze over your right hand, maintaining a strong and stable posture. Hold for a few breaths, then repeat on the left side. Warrior two cultivates strength, balance, and focus.
Triangle Pose: Expanding your Reach
From Warrior Two on the right side, straighten your right leg. Reach your right arm forward, then hinge at your hips, extending your right hand towards your right shin, ankle, or the floor. Extend your left arm towards the ceiling, stacking your shoulders.
Keep your chest open and gaze upwards. Hold for a few breaths, then return to Warrior Two and repeat on the left side. Triangle Pose opens your chest and stretches your hamstrings.
Kneeling Backbend: Gentle Back Extension
Stay sitting on your heels. Walk your hands back, lifting your chest towards the sky. Bring your knees a little closer together for added stability.
Bend your elbows, squeeze your shoulder blades together, and gently lift your chest. This pose counteracts the effects of sitting and promotes an open chest.

From your kneeling backbend, gently lower your chest towards your thighs and rest your forehead on the mat.Extend your arms forward or alongside your body, whichever feels more agreeable.
