Though,safety concerns ultimately led him to postpone that particular element. “I think I went a little overboard,” Orsini admitted, describing it as a learning experience.He plans to bring the giant inflatables to life in a future year, prioritizing visitor safety.
This year’s display still boasts an impressive array of festive attractions. You can enjoy a DJ, a bounce house, a petting zoo, a lively choir performance, a captivating dance show, and photos with Santa. A variety of free snacks are also available, ensuring a fun-filled experience for all ages.
Managing the Magic: A Guided Experience
Recognizing the popularity of last year’s display – and the late-night photo sessions on their property – Orsini implemented a thoughtful solution. A guided walking path now leads visitors through the yard, offering an organized and enjoyable experience. the display is open on weekends from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Moreover, visitors are encouraged to contribute to a worthy cause. You are asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy for donation to Stony Brook Children’s Hospital after the holidays. Last year,the Orsini family collected and donated 300 toys,creating what Jason described as “the best memory of my life.”
