Regional Rail adjustments for New Year’s Eve
Several Regional Rail lines will operate with modifications on New Year’s Eve to accommodate celebrations. Here’s a breakdown of what you can expect:
* Lansdale/Doylestown Line will be running.
* Manayunk/Norristown Line will be running.
* Media/Wawa Line will be running.
* Paoli/Thorndale Line will operate to Malvern Station only.
* Trenton Line will be running.
* warminster Line will be running.
* West trenton Line will be running.
* Wilmington/Newark Line will operate to Marcus Hook Station only.

Subway & Bus Service on New Year’s Eve
SEPTA’s subway lines will maintain a weekday schedule throughout New Year’s Eve.Trains on the Broad Street and Market-Frankford Lines will run before and after the fireworks display at Penn’s Landing,offering late-night service.
Select bus routes will operate on a modified weekday schedule, which you can review here. All other bus routes will run on weekday levels, excluding school trips.
Be aware of potential detours. Starting at 8:15 a.m. on New Year’s Eve, the following bus routes will be detoured due to Mummers Parade preparations on 15th Street between JFK Boulevard and Chestnut Street: 4, 16, 17, 27, 31, 32, 33, 38, 44, 48, 62, 124, 125, B1 Owl and L1 Owl.

Planning to enjoy the Visit PA New Year’s eve Fireworks on the Delaware River? Two shows are scheduled – one at 6 p.m. and another at midnight. To avoid traffic congestion,SEPTA recommends taking the Market-frankford Line to 2nd Street Station or utilizing bus Routes 5,12,17,21,25,33,or 42.
New Year’s day Service: A Sunday Schedule
On New Year’s Day, you can rely on a consistent schedule. Regional Rail, Metro, and bus services will all operate on a Sunday schedule. However,please note that Bus route 204 will not be in service on New Year’s Day.
