Forget incremental upgrades, this year LG is offering choice. The LG C6 will be joined by a new sibling, the LG C6H, designed to hit a sweet spot for budget-conscious smart TV buyers.

LG C6H: The Mid-Range OLED We’ve Been Waiting For
The LG C6H is generating buzz because it directly addresses a gap in LG’s OLED offerings. It’s positioned as a step below the flagship C6, offering a compelling blend of OLED picture quality and a more accessible price point.
though, there are a couple of caveats. Currently,the C6H will only be available in larger screen sizes – a strategic move likely focused on maximizing impact with its new panel technology. The standard LG C6, while still receiving upgrades, remains largely similar to last year’s C5 model, but boasts one significant improvement we’ll cover shortly.
What’s Under the Hood? The OLED Panel Difference
The core distinction between the C6 and C6H lies in the OLED panel itself. LG is employing diffrent panel technologies to achieve varying price points and performance characteristics.
The C6H utilizes a new, more cost-effective OLED panel construction. While details are still emerging, this allows LG to lower the overall manufacturing cost without sacrificing the fundamental benefits of OLED – perfect blacks, infinite contrast, and stunning color accuracy.
