Kanye West, now publicly known as Ye, is currently embroiled in a legal dispute, alleging that his former project manager and legal representation improperly filed a $1.8 million lien against his former Malibu residence.
The lawsuit, submitted in Los Angeles Superior Court on Thursday, claims that Tony Saxon, who previously oversaw the property project, and the law firm West Coast Trial lawyers, “wrongfully” imposed an “invalid” lien while together initiating a public relations effort intended to pressure Ye and impede potential transactions, all to secure payment for contested claims already under judicial review.
Representatives for Saxon have not yet issued a statement regarding the allegations.
