Spotify Increases Premium Subscription Prices in the US
Spotify is raising the price of its Premium subscriptions in the United States, following similar increases implemented in numerous countries worldwide. The company cited the need to continue investing in the platform and delivering a quality experience to subscribers.
Starting with billing cycles in February 2026, the individual Premium plan will increase from $11.99 per month to $12.99 per month. This change mirrors price hikes already enacted in regions across South Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Europe, Latin America, and the asia-Pacific region. For example, in the UK, the individual Premium plan rose from £11.99 to £12.99, and the Family plan increased from £19.99 to £21.99.
