Government Aims to “Match” Young People with the Ballot Box
Tinder users in France will now see “data cards” interspersed between profiles, directing them to the official website of the french Ministry of the Interior (https://www.interieur.gouv.fr/). This initiative is designed to be purely informative, not partisan, and aims to boost voter turnout among young adults.
The cards will provide key details about the elections, including the dates of the first and second rounds (March 15th and 22nd,2026),instructions on how to register to vote, and information on how to apply for a proxy vote (vote par procuration).
