Position: Sales Associate (Part time 30 weeks)

Sales Associates achieve store sales goals by setting ALO experience and brand mission standards. We deliver authentic, organic, great experiences to all of our customers through authentic connections, product education, and educating customers about our community and culture. This individual is an expert in all aspects of product knowledge, including features, benefits, fabrics, use, design, and care. Salespeople enjoy working in teams and enjoy feedback and a culture of excellence.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Positively impacts the business and store environment, consistent with store leadership and company goals.
  • Lead ALO’s Flow initiative to exceed sales goals while optimizing productivity and efficiency.
  • Ensure customer engagement and provide a friendly, easy-to-shop environment.
  • We build relationships with our customers every day.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to analyze reports and develop strategies to drive results. Assists in achieving an action plan that focuses on areas of shortfall and highlights opportunities for growth.
  • Drive sales initiatives and develop staffing solutions across the store to ensure effective sales floor coverage.
  • Be familiar with store goals, company communications, initiatives, new product launches, and additional information required by the store leadership team. Educate customers on in-store customer facing initiatives.
  • With personal testimony and knowledge of all aspects and details, we confidently present all aspects of the ALO business model (retail, yoga, café).
  • Utilizes company tools, incentives and strategies to help achieve store goals.
  • We ensure customer satisfaction by quickly and effectively resolving customer needs.
  • Educate our customers and employees about our products, community, and culture.
  • Collaborates with store leadership to understand and protect daily schedules that prioritize best business strategies.
  • Assists with shipping processing and product flow, including visual merchandise placement and daily replenishment excellence.
  • Ensures all front and back-end procedures are executed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • The job requires constant movement, including inside and behind the store. When not actively assisting customers, perform other tasks necessary to keep our store clean, safe, inviting and efficient.

Salesperson Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience in a customer-focused sales environment preferred.
  • Passionate about customer service and delivering exceptional experiences
  • Consistent with and implementing ALO’s Guiding Principles
  • Motivated to achieve results and excel as individuals and as a team.
  • Requires constant movement throughout all areas of the store
  • Ability to lift, push, carry or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to lift, bend, kneel, crawl, twist, and safely ascend and descend ladders.
  • Ability to stand and move throughout the entire shift.
  • Able to work 4-5 days a week, 6-8 hours a day, and a schedule that includes weekends and holidays.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Drive and exceed sales goals by leading ALO’s Flow initiatives, while optimizing productivity and efficiency
  • Ensure engagement with customers and provide a friendly and easy to shop environment
  • Continue to build the client relationship daily with our customers
  • In partnership with leadership team, analyze reports to strategize and deliver results; support achieving action plans focusing on deficient areas and highlight growth opportunities
  • Ensure effective sales floor coverage through the development of workforce solutions and leading selling initiatives throughout the store as needed.
  • Knowledge of store goals, company communication, initiatives, new product launches and any additional information required by the Store Leadership Team; educate on guest-facing initiatives on the floor
  • Confidently introduces all facets of the ALO business model (Retail, Yoga, Café) through personal testimony and knowledge of all aspects and details
  • Leverages company tools, incentives, and strategies to support meeting store goals
  • Resolve client needs quickly & effectively ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Educates guests and staff on our product, community and culture
  • Understand and protect the Daily schedule that prioritizes the best business strategy, in partnership with the Store Leadership
  • Assists in processing shipment and ensuring product flow including but not limited to visual merchandising placement and daily replenishment excellence
  • Ensure all front and back of house procedures are executed in accordance with company Policy & Procedures
  • Duties require constant movement in and around the store, including the sales floor and back of house. When not actively assisting guests, this position takes initiative to perform other tasks, as needed, to keep store clean, safe, inviting and operating efficiently.

Sales Associate Qualifications

  • Preferred 1+ years prior work experience in a client-centric, sales environment
  • Passion for customer service and delivering exceptional experiences
  • Aligns with and embodies ALO’s Guiding Principles
  • Self-motivated with a desire to achieve results and excel individually, and as a team
  • Requires constant movement in and around all areas of store
  • Ability to lift, push, carry or otherwise move up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to lift, bend, kneel, climb, crawl and/or twist, and safely climb up/down a ladder
  • Ability to stand and move for an entire shift
