Alwi Farhan defeated China’s Wang Zhengxing in teh round of 16 at the Indonesia Masters 2026. alwi won in a rubber game with a final score of 21-16 in the deciding game.
The Indonesia Masters 2026 is taking place at Istora Senayan, Jakarta, with the round of 16 matches held on Thursday, January 22nd.
The men’s singles featured a match between Indonesian Alwi Farhan and Chinese player Wang Zhengxing.

The first game was closely contested, with both players trading points. Alwi held a narrow lead at the interval, 11-10.
Wang overtook Alwi, leading 15-14, and ultimately won the first game 15-21.
In the second game,Wang maintained his momentum. Alwi attempted to catch up but trailed 9-11 at the interval.
Alwi narrowed the gap to 13-14 and then took the lead at 16-15! Wang quickly responded, tying the score at 18-18. Ultimately, Alwi secured the win 21-19.
The rubber game saw Wang take an early lead of 3-1. Alwi leveled the score at 4-4 but fell slightly behind, 10-11, at the interval.
After the interval, Alwi tied the game at 15-15.He completed a comeback, winning 21-16!
