Border 2: Do Original Cast Members Return?
Sunny Deol’s Border 2,a spiritual sequel to the 1997 war drama Border,has captivated audiences. The film depicts the Battle of Basantar during the 1971 Indo-Pak war, while the original focused on the battle of Longewala. Returning Cast in Border 2
Akshaye Khanna (as 2nd Lieutenant Dharmevir Singh Bhan), Suniel Shetty (as Naik Bhairon Singh Rathore), and Sudesh Berry (as Naib Subedar Mathura Das) do appear in Border 2. Their appearances occur during the closing credits of the film.
As Sunny Deol’s character, Fateh Singh Kaler, pays his respects at a Gurudwara Sahib, he envisions the souls of these fallen soldiers alongside his deceased son, Captain Angad Singh Kaler. Prior to this scene,a radio announcement references the martyrdom of Dharmvir and Bhairon singh,serving as a nostalgic callback to the first film.
