HENDERSON, Nevada – January 27, 2026 – The Las Vegas Raiders are intensifying their search for a new head coach, bringing back Buffalo bills Offensive Coordinator Joe Brady and Denver Broncos Quarterbacks Coach Davis Webb for second interviews. This comes after a disappointing 3-14 season that led to the dismissal of Pete Carroll [[1]].
The Coaching Candidates
The Raiders have been thorough in their evaluation process, conducting multiple interviews with several candidates.While former Los Angeles chargers Defensive Coordinator Jesse Minter was also a strong contender,he has since accepted the head coaching position with the Baltimore Ravens. additionally, former Miami Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel is no longer in the running, having been named the Offensive Coordinator for the Los Angeles Chargers.
Joe Brady: Offensive Mind
Brady has quickly risen through the coaching ranks, currently serving as the Offensive Coordinator for the Buffalo Bills. Under his guidance, the Bills, led by quarterback Josh Allen, have consistently ranked among the league’s top offenses, averaging 30.9 points per game in 2024 and 28.3 points this season. Webb, 30, is considered a promising young coach, having played a key role in the development of Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix. The Broncos, under Webb’s tutelage, achieved a 14-3 record and secured a spot in the AFC Championship game, though they ultimately fell to the New England Patriots 10-7 after Nix sustained an injury. Nix excelled under Webb’s guidance,throwing for 3,931 yards and 25 touchdowns this season.
