Construction of the Wein Overpass in Ras Al Khaimah Halfway Complete
The construction of the Wein Overpass, connecting Wein al Marjan island in Ras Al Khaimah to Dubai’s major highways E311 and E611, is now 50% complete. Once finished,the 548-metre bridge will substantially ease travel from Dubai to the luxury island of Wein Al Marjan.
According to officials at wein Resort, construction is approximately 48% complete. Nine out of the ten supporting columns for the bridge have already been installed. The project is slated for completion by the end of 2026, with an anticipated opening in the following year. The Wein Overpass is set to become the UAE’s first integrated resort.
