Integratel Perú: Performance in 2025 and Strategic Shifts
Following a change in ownership and subsequent rebranding from Telefónica del Perú to integratel Perú S.A.A. in June 2025, the company has focused on cost reduction, operational reorganization, and infrastructure expansion. The name change was approved by the Junta General de Accionistas and registered with the Superintendencia del Mercado de Valores (SMV), reflecting a new shareholder structure following the sale of the company. Despite the change in name, Integratel Perú continues as the same legal entity, ensuring uninterrupted service and contract validity for its customers.
Financial and Operational Performance:
Integratel perú implemented cost reduction and operational reorganization measures that generated efficiencies of S/ 229 million during the year. These adjustments included changes to the company’s financial structure and operational management.
Revenue in the fiber optic segment grew by 28.5% compared to 2024. Postpaid service revenues remained stable, with an increase of 2.2% in average revenue per user (ARPU).The customer churn rate due to portability decreased from 2.9% to 2.2% by year-end.
Infrastructure and Connectivity Expansion:
meaningful investments were made in network modernization and expansion. Over 2,000 mobile network base stations were upgraded, and operations utilizing 5G technology were launched during 2025.
Through its partnership with Internet para Todos, Integratel Perú expanded 4G coverage to over 53,000 rural communities. Additionally, 110 additional population centers were connected through the Canon por Cobertura mechanism.
the first year following the change of control was characterized by financial adjustments, operational reorganization, and infrastructure expansion within the Peruvian telecommunications market.
