Beierl is scheduled for a follow-up hospital appointment on Tuesday to assess the healing of the screw in her foot.

Lea Haslwanter and Victoria Festin of Austria finished 24th after two runs and did not qualify for the fourth and final heat. Despite not achieving their goal of a top-20 finish, Haslwanter expressed satisfaction with her performance, particularly in the third run. “I am very satisfied (with the 3rd run). It’s a shame I didn’t make it to the fourth run. The goal of the top 20 was unfortunately not achieved. But the expectation of the Olympics per se was exceeded. It’s very cool to experience this,” Haslwanter said.
