Reaching the milestone age of 80 on August 2, 2026, the Hamburg-born artist today lives in the Wesermarsch. Soon she struck rockier tones with the band Frumpy, quickly finding success and overcoming her inhibitions because, as she remembered, once she was on stage, or singing in general, she knew that this was her space now and nobody could tell her anything there.
