Veteran Experience and Career Background
Looney enters Los Angeles with extensive playoff and championship experience. Drafted 30th overall in the 2015 NBA Draft out of UCLA, he spent the first ten seasons of his professional career with the Golden State Warriors, helping Golden State win three NBA Championships.
Prior to signing with the Lakers, Looney played 21 games for the New Orleans Pelicans, where he averaged 2.8 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per contest while shooting 41.7% from the field.
