The NB10000 Gen 4 weighs 146 grams and measures 1.45 by 11.6 by 4.68 centimeters, according to manufacturer specifications. That footprint makes it the lightest and most compact 10,000mAh power bank currently available in its class. Even with the addition of a 6-gram braided USB-C lanyard that doubles as a 60W cable, the device undercuts its predecessor, the Gen 3.

The secret behind the weight reduction lies in the battery cell itself. By utilizing a silicon-carbon anode—the same energy storage technology appearing in flagship smartphones from manufacturers like Samsung—the power bank packs a 39Wh capacity into a carbon fiber composite shell. Testing shows the unit delivers 33.58Wh of usable power, achieving an 86.1 percent efficiency rate.
Performance, Pricing, and Market Comparison
The power bank supports up to 22.5W of output and is compatible with PD, QC3.0, and Huawei’s SCP charging protocols. In practical use, the unit fully recharged an aging iPhone 15 Pro twice with watt-hours to spare, and it can supply emergency top-ups to larger electronics like a 14-inch MacBook Pro.

However, this performance comes with a notable price increase. The Gen 4 carries an MSRP of $83.95, representing a steep jump from the $64.95 launch price of the Gen 3 model released two years prior.
Durability remains a core focus for outdoor gear. The device features an IPX7 water-resistance rating, allowing it to withstand rain and temporary submersion. According to Notebookcheck, the Carbo 20 delivers 78Wh of capacity due to a higher internal operating voltage and weighs approximately 11.3 ounces. Unlike smaller models that rely entirely on basic LED dots, the Carbo 20 incorporates a status display showing remaining capacity as a percentage. Nitecore expects the Carbo 20 to launch in Q2 2026, though official pricing has not yet been announced.
