Xiaomi Redmi 17 Series Launched: Specs, Battery Upgrades, and Digi Mobil Offers

Telecommunication operator Digi Mobil has expanded its hardware portfolio with the rollout of ten new smartphone models, headlined by advanced flagship offerings and budget-friendly devices. According to reports from Playtech, the fresh inventory introduces high-end options like the Xiaomi 17T and Xiaomi 17T Pro alongside entry-level hardware such as the Oppo A6 4G and Motorola G06.

The Xiaomi 17T Pro emerges as the standout device in the update, carrying a standard manufacturer retail price of 926 euros, as reported by Playtech. Positioned directly against established premium flagships, the model is available to consumers through several financial configurations. Customers porting a pre-paid mobile card to a Digi Optim or Nelimitat subscription can acquire the Xiaomi 17T Pro with an initial advance payment of 554 euros, followed by 12 monthly installments of 31 euros. For subscribers porting an existing contract from another provider, the initial advance drops to 422 euros, though the monthly installment increases to 42 euros over the 12-month period.

Meanwhile, the standard Xiaomi 17T serves as a more accessible alternative within the high-tier lineup, listed with a standard price of 673 euros. Playtech notes that pre-paid users porting to a Digi plan can purchase the device with a 375-euro advance and 12 monthly payments of 25 euros. Contract-porting customers pay a lower initial advance of 265 euros paired with 12 monthly installments of 34 euros. Both flagship-tier Xiaomi devices can be bundled with any of the operator’s primary service plans.

Service Plan Integration and Cost Structures

Digi structures its hardware offerings around three core subscription packages: Optim 2, Optim 3, and Nelimitat. According to Playtech, the Optim 2 plan costs approximately 2.03 euros per month, providing unlimited network minutes and text messages, 200 national and international minutes, 3.05 gigabytes of European Economic Area roaming data, and unlimited domestic mobile data. The Optim 3 package, priced at roughly 3.05 euros monthly, elevates national allowances to 300 minutes and increases EEA roaming data to 4.58 gigabytes.

The top-tier Nelimitat subscription costs approximately 5.08 euros per month and delivers unlimited domestic calls, network messaging, up to 3,000 international minutes, and 7.64 gigabytes of roaming data. Consumers must weigh the trade-off between higher upfront advances and increased monthly installments over the course of the contract.

Entry-Level Additions for Budget-Conscious Buyers

Beyond the premium Xiaomi ecosystem, the operator has integrated accessible entry-level hardware aimed at users prioritizing low acquisition costs. Playtech reports that the Oppo A6 4G starts at 899 lei, while the Motorola G06 is available for 519 lei. Unlike the structured financing models required for high-end flagships, these entry-level devices are offered with zero advance payment spread across 24 monthly installments, simplifying the purchasing process for consumers seeking basic smartphone connectivity.
