Festival organizers confirmed that top global creators Mark Vins and Ziwe will headline the opening day festivities by screening never-before-seen content developed exclusively for the streaming platform.

Mark Vins Brings Brave Wilderness to the Galápagos

Mark Vins, widely known for his work with Brave Wilderness, will use the festival stage to premiere his new feature-length documentary titled “Reef to Ridge.”

The project chronicles his production team as they embark on a high-stakes scientific and visual expedition through the Galápagos Islands, documenting endangered species in their natural habitats.

Ziwe Debuts New Episodes of Satirical Series

Joining Vins on the opening day lineup is comedian and writer Ziwe, who will premiere two brand-new episodes of her popular and culturally influential series “You’d Be an Iconic Guest.” Known for her sharp satirical interviews and unique comedic voice, Ziwe’s latest installments continue her exploration of contemporary pop culture and media dynamics.

Matt Donnelly Hosts On-Stage Q&A Sessions

Following each screening at TIFF: The Market, Variety’s executive editor of film, Matt Donnelly, will host an on-stage Q&A session with the creators.
