Actor Adly Fairuz is currently facing a civil lawsuit amounting to nearly Rp 5 billion at the South Jakarta District Court, stemming from allegations of involvement in a potential fraud related to admissions into the Police Academy (Akpol). the plaintiff’s legal counsel has detailed how Adly Fairuz allegedly convinced the victims involved in the alleged deception.
According to Farly Lumopa, the plaintiff’s attorney, the chronology unfolded when his client, Abdul Hadi, felt defrauded after transferring Rp 3.65 billion with the understanding that his child would be admitted to Akpol in 2023 and 2024.
“Initially, it was communicated that the funds would be delivered to General Ahmad. I was surprised and investigated who this General Ahmad was. As a member of an extended police family, I know many people within the force, but this name was unfamiliar,” Farly Lumopa stated during a meeting in the Panglima Polim area of South Jakarta, on Friday, January 9, 2026.
