Setting up these new metadata rules is straightforward. Here’s how you can get started:
- Navigate to Domain Management: Within the SageMaker Catalog interface,go to the Govern menu and select Domain Management.
- Add a New Rule: Choose Add within your domain units.
- Select Rule Type: You’ll be presented with two options: Metadata forms or Glossary association. Select Glossary association.
- Define Required Terms: You can specify up to five required glossary terms for each rule.
- Enforce the Rule: When you attempt to publish an asset, the system will validate that the required glossary terms have been applied.
If the required terms are missing, you’ll receive a clear error message prompting you to enforce the glossary rule. This ensures no asset is published without the necessary business context.
