Thousands Find Faith at Buenos Aires Evangelistic Festival with Franklin Graham
A recent evangelistic festival in Buenos Aires, Argentina, hosted by Franklin Graham, witnessed a remarkable outpouring of faith, with nearly 43,000 people making professions of faith in Jesus Christ. The event, organized by the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA), drew massive crowds despite inclement weather, demonstrating a deep hunger for spiritual connection within the Argentinian community.
This wasn’t just a large gathering; it was a moment of profound change for manny attendees. Ale Nüesch, the church coordinator for Esperanza Buenos Aires, expressed her astonishment at the response, stating, “I was blown away adn surprised by the number of people who came forward.” She continued, “It’s amazing to see so many lives being changed at one moment here in this stadium.”

The Power of a Biblical Message
Saturday’s message, based on the story of zacchaeus from Luke 19:1-10, proved notably impactful. Valentino, one of the nearly 43,000 in attendance, felt a clear calling from God. “I know I’m here for a reason,” he told BGEA, “God called me to Him, here today.” He expressed a newfound belief in Jesus as “the way, the truth, and the life,” and a desire to share his faith with his family.
