The Late Late Toy show Appeal: A Legacy of Giving and Joy
the annual Late Late Toy Show is more than just an evening of entertainment; it’s become a national tradition steeped in heartwarming moments and, increasingly, a powerful force for good. This year’s show, broadcast on December 6th, 2025, continued that legacy, while honoring the inspiring spirit behind the Late Late Toy Show Appeal.
A Foundation of Inspiration
The Toy Show Appeal was born from the incredible story of Saoirse Ruane. She captured the hearts of Ireland with her appearance on the 2020 Late Late Toy Show. Sadly, Saoirse passed away in March 2024, but her impact lives on through this annual fundraising initiative. A special star, representing Saoirse, was prominently displayed atop the Toy Show Christmas tree as a touching tribute.
