Caracas, Venezuela – On Friday, January 24, 2026, a team of medical professionals successfully completed nine complex surgeries at the “Libertad” Thorough Diagnostic Center (CDI) in Cojedes state, Venezuela. This initiative is part of the National Surgical Plan, a program aimed at improving healthcare access and quality for Venezuelan citizens.

The surgeries were scheduled and facilitated through the 1×10 system of the VenApp, specifically using Line 58 for requests. Surgical Procedures Performed
The surgical team,comprised of specialists from the National public health System (SPNS),performed a range of procedures,including:
- Two cholecystectomies (gallbladder removal)
- Three abdominal hysterectomies (uterus removal)
- One sterilization procedure
- Three hernioplasties (hernia repair)
