Al Nassr defeated Al Shabab in a Saudi Pro League match on Saturday, January 17, 2026. the victory marks a turning point for Cristiano Ronaldo and his team,ending a three-game losing streak.
Al Nassr hosted Al Shabab at Al Awwal Park, Riyadh. The team had been struggling,entering the match with losses in their previous three fixtures.
Prior to this match, Al Nassr had not secured a win in 2026, having suffered defeats against Al Ahli (2-3), Al Qadsiah (1-2), and Al Hilal (1-3).

Al Nassr took an early lead, starting with an own goal from saad Yaslam in the 2nd minute, followed by a goal from Kingsley Coman in the 8th minute.
Al Shabab fought back, with Mohamed Simakan scoring an own goal and Carlos Carvalho finding the net, leveling the score at 2-2.
However, Al Nassr secured the victory when Abdulrahman Al Ghareeb scored in the 76th minute.
