For fans of raw, energetic ’90s Canadian punk, a significant revival is underway. the influential North vancouver band d.b.s. – largely absent from the music scene for decades – is preparing to release remastered reissues of their seminal albums, Tales from the Crib (1995) and Some Boys Got It, Most Men Don’t (1999). This resurgence follows the band’s recent reactivation on Instagram, hinting at a renewed interest in their legacy.
A Legacy Rekindled
D.b.s. carved a distinct niche within the Canadian punk landscape, known for their blistering energy and socially conscious lyrics. Their music resonated with a generation grappling with disillusionment and a desire for authentic expression.
