Helen Mirren to Receive Golden Globes‘ Cecil B. DeMille award
Helen Mirren, a titan of stage and screen, will be honored with the Golden Globes’ Cecil B. DeMille Award in January 2026. This prestigious lifetime achievement award recognizes her extraordinary and enduring contributions to the world of entertainment.
The festivity will take place during a new primetime special, Golden Eve, airing on CBS and Paramount+.This event will also honor the recipient of the Carol Burnett Award for TV achievement, an announcement still forthcoming.
MirrenS illustrious six-decade career boasts a remarkable range of roles. She captivated audiences in films like Caligula, Excalibur, White Nights, and The cook, The Thief, His Wife & Her Lover. Furthermore, she delivered critically acclaimed performances in Gosford Park, Calendar Girls, Elizabeth I, and Golda.
Her talent extends seamlessly to television. You likely recognise her iconic portrayal of Jane Tennison in Prime Suspect. She also starred in the Golden Globe-winning miniseries Losing Chase and currently appears as a Dutton in the Yellowstone Universe series 1923.

Nikki Glaser will host the 83rd Golden Globes, marking her second year as emcee, on January 11, 2026. You can expect the nominations to be announced on December 8th.
