Mbappe overtakes Henry to become the second most capped Frenchman in football history
Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe came in second place among the most successful French football players in history.
The goal scored in the 20th round of the Spanish Championship against Levante (2:0) became the 27-year-old striker’s 412th career goal at the professional level. Thanks to this achievement, Mbappe surpassed Thierry Henry, who finished with 411 goals.
Karim Benzema still holds the top spot in the rankings. The former captain of the French national team, now playing for Al Ittihad, scored 513 times for clubs and the national team.
