Sirens is a brand-new Netflix original miniseries from Molly Smith Metzler, based on her 2011 stage play Elemeno Pea. The series stars Meghann Fahy as Devon DeWitt, a young woman who grows concerned for her younger sister, Simone, who works as the personal assistant for lifestyle guru Michaela Kell (Julianne Moore) at her personal retreat. Alcock stars as Simone, who has an unhealthy devotion to her employer that may mask a web of manipulation that runs much deeper than anyone realizes. The series features an impressive cast that also includes Kevin Bacon, Glenn Howerton, and Josh Segarra.
Sirens is an intriguing dark comedy that keeps audiences guessing throughout its entire five-episode run. As always, Milly Alcock is captivating as Simone DeWitt, effortlessly capturing both sides of her character: Devon’s loving sister and Michaela’s overly devoted minion. HBO’s Game of Thrones prequel, House of the Dragon, is set 200 years before the events of the original series, focusing on the height of the Targaryen dynasty.
