Zoe is a fascinating and powerful Pal you can recruit in Palworld, but the process isn’t straightforward. This guide will walk you through each step of her unique questline, ensuring a smooth and successful recruitment. Prepare for a journey that involves battling, gathering, and ultimately, capturing a former adversary.
Getting Started: Initial Encounter & The Tower
Initially,you’ll encounter Zoe near the Desolate church in the eastern region of the map. She’s a formidable opponent, so be prepared for a challenging fight. Defeat her in battle, then return to the Desolate Church to trigger the next phase of the questline. A tower located just east of the church is central to her story,so keep that location in mind.
Don’t Get Cocky: The Grizzbolt Requirement
Zoe’s frist task for you involves a Grizzbolt. You need to catch one and present it to her. Fortunately, you might already have one in your party! If not, the No. 1 Wildlife Sanctuary is an excellent place to find them.
Alternatively, you can breed a Grizzbolt using Mossanda and Rayhound as parents.
Crucially,remember to set your Pals to “Spare” – preventing them from attacking. Aggressive Pals will immediately kill Zoe upon spawning,resetting your progress.
I Still Don’t Trust You: Eliminating the Free Pal Alliance
Next, Zoe asks you to demonstrate your commitment by eliminating five members of the Free Pal Alliance.These enemies, identifiable by their white and green robes, are frequently found instigating conflict with you and other Pals.
A reliable location for finding them is around the Ancient Ritual Site fast travel point.
You can also locate several near the Cinnamoth Forest, just west of the fast travel point.
Once you’ve defeated five, return to Zoe to proceed.
A Warm Memory: Retrieving the Blanket
Zoe then reveals a more personal request: retrieving a blanket she left in the nearby Fort Ruins. These ruins are located east of the Desolate Church.
Look for the fast travel point just north of the Chillet alpha Pal location on your map.
From the fast travel point, descend the stairs and enter the ruins.
Turn left and you’ll find the blanket in the corner.
return the blanket to Zoe to unlock the final stage.

Bringing the blanket back to Zoe will prompt her to finally consider joining your team. However, she won’t simply offer her services. You must capture her using a Pal Sphere,just like any other Pal.
Be prepared for her to resist, attacking you with ranged attacks.
Carefully avoid defeating her, as doing so will force you to leave the area and restart the process.
Once captured, Zoe becomes a valuable ally, capable of battling alongside you, fishing at your base, and even befriending Grizzbolt.
