Selecting artwork appropriate for preschoolers is no small feat. imagine sifting through a collection of 42,000 pieces! The curator tasked with this challenge faced a delightful, yet difficult, decision.
Ultimately, 48 works were chosen, representing less than 1% of the museum’s entire holdings. This selection wasn’t just about aesthetics; it prioritized equity and depiction, ensuring the inclusion of both female and Indigenous artists.
