FAA Issues Cautionary Notices too Pilots Over Military Activity

The U.S. Federal Aviation Management (FAA) has issued warnings to airlines and pilots operating in airspace near Mexico and several central and South American countries due to increased military activity. these notices, known as NOTAMs (Notices to Air Missions), highlight potentially dangerous situations, including possible disruptions to satellite navigation systems, and are in effect for 60 days.

Areas Affected

The FAA’s warnings cover airspace over Mexico, Central America, Panama, Bogota, Guayaquil, and mazatlan, and also the Eastern Pacific Ocean region. Pilots are advised that risks may exist at all altitudes, encompassing cruise, arrival, and departure phases of flight. FAA Official Website
