Demystifying Artificial Intelligence: Upcoming Workshops

The local library,in collaboration with the intercommunal public reading network,is hosting a series of three workshops designed to make AI understandable for all,irrespective of your computer skills.these sessions aim to help you comprehend, explore, experiment with, and even enjoy the possibilities of AI.

these workshops, led by Ouest Aveyron Communauté’s digital advisor, Kévin Rapaport, are structured to be inclusive and engaging. Here’s a look at what’s planned:

  • Friday, January 16th at 6:00 PM: “What Exactly *Is* AI?” This will be an interactive discussion, offering a chance for you to share your thoughts and ask questions.
  • Friday, February 20th at 6:00 PM: “AI a little More, I’ll leave It to You?” Expect a revealing and playful exploration of AI’s capabilities.
  • Friday, April 3rd at 6:00 PM: “AI Isn’t Just for Others” This session will provide accessible training to dispel common myths surrounding AI.

Beyond the AI workshops, the library is also hosting a special film screening. On Friday, January 23rd at 8:00 PM, the library team, partnering with the OAC public reading network, will present “The Snow leopard,” a documentary that won an award at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival.
