Virat Kohli has officially established himself as the highest-scoring Indian batsman on English soil across all international formats. During the second ODI match held in Cardiff, Kohli delivered a composed innings of 65 runs off 66 deliveries, an effort that included eight boundaries. This performance allowed him to surpass the long-standing record previously held by legendary batsman Rahul Dravid.
With this latest contribution, Kohli’s total run tally in England has reached 2,646 runs. Rahul Dravid now sits in second place with 2,645 runs, followed by Sachin Tendulkar, who occupies the third position with 2,626 runs. The updated list of the highest-scoring Indian batsmen in England further highlights the contributions of other prominent figures: Rohit Sharma follows with 2,308 runs, Sourav Ganguly with 1,949 runs, and MS Dhoni with 1,869 runs.

While Kohli’s individual achievement marked a significant personal milestone, the match itself presented challenges for the Indian side.
