The Ministry of Transport in the Arab Republic of Egypt launched the light electric train (LRT 2024) some time ago, and the availability of a number of jobs for this giant project was announced by the National Tunnels Authority. The Authority announced that it has begun receiving application papers for train-related jobs from the first day of May 2024, and will continue to receive applications until the sixteenth of the same month. Conditions for filling light rail rail positions (LRT 2024).
The National Tunnels Authority, affiliated with the Ministry of Transport, revealed the conditions and requirements that must be met by those wishing to occupy light rail positions, which are as follows:
- Experience in maintaining electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Obtaining an industrial technical institute, an industrial technical bachelor’s degree, or a technical diploma.
- Ability to work shifts, whether evening or morning.
- The applicant’s age should not exceed 40 years.
- Completing military service or obtaining an exemption from it.
- Ability to bear responsibility and work pressure.
- There are no previous criminal records.
- The job applicant must be in good health.
- Priority in filling the position goes to someone with experience and someone who is proficient in the Arabic language.
