The answer, as runner Haiden Mast eloquently put it, is a realization of the immense challenges faced by children and their parents.”You rarely consider how much more challenging it is for children and their parents facing these circumstances. Efforts like this can make a real difference,” Mast shared. It’s a sentiment echoed by all involved, highlighting the profound impact of supporting organizations like St. jude.

The relay isn’t about individual speed; it’s about teamwork. Participants run segments of 3 to 5 miles each, allowing everyone to contribute at their own pace. This inclusive approach fosters a sense of community and ensures broad participation.
To join the run,participants commit to raising a minimum of $1,000 – a testament to their dedication and the strong support network behind them. Co-coordinator Mary Alexander also has a powerful connection to St. Jude, running in support of local children currently undergoing treatment. “There’s also some local kids that I run for, Eddie and Bryant, they both are currently St Jude patients and both are doing well,” she shared, highlighting the direct impact of the fundraising efforts.
