Racing at York experienced a nearly 30-minute delay on Sunday after a fall in the Garrowby Stakes impacted both Jim Crowley and Trevor whelan. Simultaneously, David Noonan suffered an injury at Fontwell after being kicked by a horse during the start of a race.
Crowley and Whelan were instantly transported too Leeds General Infirmary for evaluation and treatment. Noonan received medical attention at Royal Sussex County Hospital.

Later,almeraq rolled over Crowley,and Tiger Bay,trailing behind,had no room to maneuver,also going down and unseating Whelan. Thankfully,both horses appeared to escape with onyl minor injuries.
