One phone connected directly to viasat’s I-4 F3 satellite, while the other utilized a traditional cellular network.This wasn’t a lab experiment; it was a real-world test proving the viability of satellite-to-cell communication using 3GPP’s non-terrestrial network (NTN) standards.
