The event wasn’t just a local affair. visitors traveled from around the globe to meet the firefighters and snag a signed calendar. One attendee, Christa Mooer from Denmark, shared that her husband specifically requested she visit the signing during her trip to New York City.
“It was very hot, very nice!” Mooer exclaimed, clearly enjoying her encounter with the muscular heroes.
The firefighters themselves were equally excited. Models like Raymond Urena, 32, and Joselyn Vidal, 30, radiated positivity and a deep commitment to their community.

For some, participating in the calendar was a personal challenge. Joselyn vidal, an EMT and mother of two, explained she applied to prove to herself she could be a contender.
“I was just hoping I could show myself, hey, if other peopel can do it, why not me?” she said.
Both Urena and Vidal emphasized the importance of giving back, a core value of their profession. “It’s amazing; you can’t do this job if you don’t like giving back,” Urena stated.

The calendar’s return was made possible by a generous $250,000 donation from Firehouse subs, covering all production costs. Matt DiLiberto, chairman of the FDNY Foundation, expressed his gratitude.
“To be without it for two years, we heard the call, and we were excited that Firehouse Subs came and said, ‘We’ll help you bring this back,'” he explained.
diliberto also highlighted that the models’ contributions extend beyond posing for photos.They will actively participate in promoting fire safety education throughout the city.

The impact of the calendar reaches beyond fundraising. Erasmos Soto,a 36-year-old fireman with ten years of service,shared a heartwarming story.
“My grandma wanted one so fast. I was like, ‘You know what? I got you,'” he said, demonstrating the personal connection the calendar fosters.
