Post Malone Announces Pre-Super Bowl Concert & Hints at New Music
Post Malone is gearing up for a major performance in the days leading up to Super Bowl LVIII. He’ll be headlining a concert at Fort Mason in San Francisco on February 7th, offering fans a high-energy show just an hour away from where the Super Bowl (and Bad bunny’s highly anticipated halftime performance) will take place. This presents a unique opportunity for music lovers to experience two incredible shows in quick succession.
But the excitement doesn’t stop there. Malone has teased the possibility of debuting brand new music at the Fort Mason concert. He revealed he’s been diligently working on a ample collection of songs.
New Music on the Horizon
Currently, he and his team have around 45 tracks in progress. Finishing them has been challenging due to a busy schedule, but he assures fans new tunes will be ready. Here’s what you can expect:
* He “a hundred percent” plans to play new music at the show.
* The artist has been working “very, very diligently” on fresh material.
* Expect a selection from a pool of approximately 45 songs.
Though, true to his playful personality, Malone added a touch of characteristic ambiguity. He jokingly stated the new music is “allegedly a hundred percent maybe, definitely,” leaving fans eagerly anticipating what he has in store.
A History of Super bowl Performances
This isn’t malone’s first foray into the Super Bowl atmosphere. Last year, he delivered a moving rendition of “America the Gorgeous” before the game in Las Vegas. He’s also headlined YouTube’s Tailgate Concert and a Bud light Backyard concert surrounding the Super Bowl in previous years. Most recently, you may have seen him perform during the halftime show of a Thanksgiving Cowboys-Chiefs game.
Given his previous involvement, it’s no surprise he’s expressed interest in landing the coveted Super Bowl halftime show spot. He openly admitted he “would love to” headline the biggest concert of the year, should the opportunity arise.
For now, fans can look forward to a dynamic performance in San Francisco and the potential unveiling of exciting new music from one of today’s most versatile artists. It’s shaping up to be a memorable week for both Post Malone and his dedicated fanbase.
