He didn’t delve into extensive character research beyond understanding Wally as “a dude with kids-crazy homie be getting him into shit, but he don’t have the time to dream.” Instead, he approached the role with the same instinctive energy he brings to his live performances.
This parallels his concert preparation, where he can deliver an unbelievable show even when feeling relatively relaxed just moments before taking the stage. “It’s been so many shows that I’ve done that were incredible, some of my best performances, and like, bro, I’m asleep nine minutes before,” he shared.
